Meet the Founders

Dr. Robert Ames – A world-renowned scientist, Professor of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology at the University of California, Berkeley, and Senior Scientist at Children’s Hospital Oakland Research Institute. With over 540 publications and numerous prestigious awards, Dr. Ames has shaped global research on mutation, cancer, and aging. He is the creator of the Ames Test, one of the most widely used tools in pharmaceutical and chemical safety testing. His current research focuses on oxidative DNA damage, cancer prevention, and age-related diseases.

Dr. Tory Hagen – Co-inventor of Motivea’s patented healthy aging formulations, Professor at Oregon State University, and Principal Investigator at the Linus Pauling Institute. His research explores mitochondrial health, aging, and cellular resilience.

Nathan D. Hamilton – Co-founder and CEO of Motivea, with executive leadership experience across consumer health, biotechnology, diagnostics, and medical devices. He holds a Physics degree from UC Berkeley and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
